Our first Fire Pit Workshop was held on June 29th showcasing the brand NEW Concrete Countertop Institute's CRATER Fire Pit. This modern gas fire pit designed by Jeff Girard is the first in a series of outdoor projects designed for spraying in GFRC. This first class was offered for free to anyone purchasing the Crater Fire Pit Kit during the month of June. Thank you to all who came out and enjoyed a day of Sealer demo and discussion. We truely appreciate everyone taking the time to understand the ins/outs of sealing and process involved with acheiving the best finish through good application.

UV Sealer Demo/Workshop

Free UV Sealer Demo/Workshop was given at Fishstone on February 25th. UV Light Safety and the different types of sealers and application processes were covered. Customers also had a chance to bring their own concrete samples to seal. This FREE workshop is held periodically throughout the year.

FISHSTONE has first Concrete Countertop Training Class

"Fast Track" with CCI Trainer Jeff Girard.

The attendees learned hands on GFRC techniques in a condensed 2- day training session from the Concrete Countertop Institute's president and trainer, Jeff Girard. This beginner class covered how to design a from-scratch GFRC mix using CSA cements, tips on mold making/design, polishing and instruction on the latest UV-cured sealer for a fast, stain-proof, worry-free finish. An integral kitchen sink project was used in the hands on portion of the class as well as student samples boards.

Our amazing Tarpon 5" polishing pad for Concrete is available. The unique triangular shaped segment design helps produce a swirl-free polish while providing the most effective channels for slurry removal. OPTIMUM-380 Premium Superplasticyzer is a modified polycarboxilated high range water reducing admixture formulated to deliver extremely high spread rates with “self placing” properties. Using OPTIMUM-380 delivers higher early strengths, improves workability and densification of surfaces with lower dosage rates than comparable S.C.C superplasticizers. Water to cement ratios can be obtained with as much as 25-30% total water reduction.
